The Council for the Encouragement of Music and the Arts (C.E.M.A.), United Kingdom, Selection from the Tate Gallery's Wartime Acquisitions, September 1942–September 1943.
The great success of the exhibition at the National Gallery, see 1942c London, prompted the C.E.M.A.to approach the Trustees of the Tate about presenting a selection of the works shown in London in a seperate touring exhibition in various cities in Great Britain. (exhibition catalogue).
