Notes

The bridge is situated at Trois Moulins in the hamlet of Maincy, near the "Moulin d'en bas" at the left. It crosses the Almont river, which marks the limit between Melun and Maincy and was formerly called "pont Thomson." It was built in 1828-29 by a colonel Thomson [or Johnson]  to access his house, le château du Coudray. (Alain Mothe, 2011)  Cézanne lived on the rue des Trois Moulins.
