Chappuis (1973) listed this drawing as being in the Degas sale, but the work cannot be identified with a specific lot number.
Anonymous after Michelango (attributed), Écorché, dit de Michel-Ange, 16th century, plaster cast, École nationale supérieure des beaux-arts, Paris. Cezanne had a modern reproduction in his Les Lauves studio.
