The female bather is related to FWN957–59 and appears in this sketchbook, pp. XII recto and X verso.

"The small head of a bearded man is a copy after that of Diogenes in Pierre Puget's monumental relief The Meeting of Alexander and Diogenes (Louvre, no. 1468),"  identified by Shoemaker and Reff.
