The lower half of this sheet contains four sketches copied from a reproduction of the Ceiling of Apollo, by Eugène Delacroix in the Louvre. They represent an allegorical figure of a River (see also FWN3017-27a and 2264), a seated Venus (see also FWN3017-14b), a floating corpse and a wild animal (see also FWN3017-26a).
