Notes
Chappuis (1973, p. 67) relates the studies of a reclining female nude on the sheet to FWN3017-30b and to the painting FWN652.
Reff (1960, p. 148) suggested that the model is a plaster cast of a statue of Venus, citing Salomon Reinach, Repertoire de la Statuaire grecque et romaine, Paris, 1897, vol. I, p. 336 and 1405.
