Notes
As in the painting of the same siubject (FWN687), the figures from right to left can be identified as follows: Camille Pissarro at his easel, Claude Monet under an umbrella, Cezanne with a walking stick and two other men with their arms upraised, probably Auguste Renoir and, at far left, Victor Chocquet. Delacroix is carried heavenward by angels.
